Proud of you, proud of mom and dad, proud of elk river high school! the number one thing that parents can do to ensure success for their children is to get them to school, on time, every day; the rest of it will flow from there. these folks obviously took their role as parents seriously.

Wayzata High School has several 36's almost every year, as I'm sure is the case at several other high schools in the area. Not to take anything away from these girls because this is a noteworthy accomplishment, but if this is front page news the dozens of other students in the area who have achieved 36's deserve equal recognition.

The girls need to be rewarded, and so do the parents! Parents make the greatest difference in a child's education. Teachers have a role, and the school has a role, however, it is the parents doing parenting things! CONGRATULATIONS!

Great job, but creative writing? What a waste. Get a technical/engineering degree. Then you can do whatever you like when you graduate.

I think ACT spokesman Ed Colby means "infinitesimally," not "infinitely." I would also guess that ACT scores are correlated between siblings, which makes this occurrence more likely than his assumption that the sisters are in statistically independent groups.

I would like to add that I sincerely hope these girls also keep in mind that they have been given a gift and use it wisely.

For her to do that with an Elk River education is extremely impressive! Just imagine her potential once she gets to a good school!
