You can see why Republicans want to eliminate laws and regulations. They keep getting caught breaking them. And when they do, all their platitudes about personal responsibility go right out the window.

The GOP mantra from one of their own..."I made my mistakes, but in all of my years of public life, I have never profited, never profited from public service β€” I earned every cent,” he said. β€œAnd in all of my years of public life, I have never obstructed justice. And I think, too, that I could say that in my years of public life, that I welcome this kind of examination, because people have got to know whether or not their president is a crook. Well, I am not a crook. I have earned everything I have got.” Tony follows in some big foot prints.

If he was a DFLer I would support prosicution. If he broke the law he needs to pay.

The penalty for this sort of thing should be a fine equal to the amount of the illegal contributions given to to opposition Party! That would cause some thinking on the part of strategists.

TONY SUTTON'S defiant "I am not a crook" blather didn't work for Richard Nixon or Tom Petters, but if he'd innocently and sincerely repeat Sgt. Schultz's "I know NOTHING!" mantra the public just might believe him. Tony's statement doesn't comment on rumors that a JABBA The SUTTON has booked a one-way flight to the ice planet Hoth, which doesn't have an extradition treaty agreement with Minnesota. Meanwhile, back in Credibility Gap, MnGOP chairman Pat Shortridge might be wondering if any continued executive association with his inept, shameful, disintegrating political party will compromise or put at risk his solid personal and professional reputation. Minnesota's once honorable Republican Party has devolved to become a laughable and pathetic intellectual sinkhole, completely unfit to govern the great state of Minnesota.

It would be ironic if the Minnesota GOP is brought up on election fraud charges.
