The little devils have decimated our Knockout rose blooms for the last 3 years but they never touch the older varieties of roses. Trust me when I say **none** of the sprays work, so don't waste your money. My solution for saving the Knockout blooms is to cut the flower buds while they are still tightly closed and bring them inside. They open beautifully in a vase of water inside. I really regret my decision a few years ago to purchase Knockouts instead of older varieties of roses. I bought the Knockouts because they were supposed to be more pest and disease resistant which has turned out to be patently false when it comes to the Japanese beetle.

Sarah try Cyonara 9.7 it will kill any bug it comes in contact with and repel others. A 3 foot band around your house and spraying around doors and porch/patio areas will do wonders! It's safe for use in hospitals, restaurants and most importantly children! You can find it on Amazon and Ebay. I recommend it and use it regularly.
