How much do you want to bet that Harry "drama queen" Reid had something on his body that was made in China when he was embarrassing himself while publicly lambasting the US Olympic Committee.

There needs to be a national effort to "Buy American" in this country. This is how American jobs are created. I have been waiting for the job creators to create jobs for the last 11 years with the Bush tax cuts, and I am still waiting. Give a huge tax break to the middle class, and urge them to use it to buy American. Then, slap a huge tariff on products made by companies that committed economic treason when they moved their companies out of the USA to take advantage of tax breaks and slave labor wages.

I think the Olympic Committee should be more embarrassed by the design than that they were made in China.

Sad but true. It will take more than govt policy to make "Buy American" work. We all benefit from the current cost advantages.

While it is not possible to "buy American" every time, I do my best especially when it comes to food for my family and my dogs. Who knows what toxins the Chinese are slipping into the ingredients of the products they make. What a fantastic way to accomplish two goals: 1. "sell the capitalist the rope to hang themselves and, 2. ship nasty toxins out of China. It's a win/win - for the Chinese.

It can just be a small gesture -- look at the back of your greeting cards!! I did and was surprised Made in China. So I looked until I found one that was Made in USA.
