Joe...you are delusional. Talent? Talent? What talent? I see a bunch of midgets who run fast but can't hit the ball out of their shadows. This team lacks baseball moxie from the top down. Pay attention Joe and you will see dumb plays every game. keep an eye on Span and Revere and you will see screwups every game. Pitchers..there is no talent Joe..just BP ragarms. I think you've taken one too many bonks on da noggin!

Joe can you stay healthy playing catcher? Your past says you can. I'm a Joe Mauer fan. Use your head Joe not your heart. After the Twins trade Span please try the outfield.

Even at his best, Joe is not a game changer. He's a single's hitter and He needs someone else to drive in runs and put up crooked numbers which win ballgames. The twins put too much money into a singles hitter.

Joe's always frustrated. Maybe he should see a doctor about that.

Nice to hear from our slap singles hitter that has so much of our payroll that we will continue to look up from the bottom of the division.

It really isn't Mauer's fault the Twins are the worst team in the AL. The problem is TR's reliance upon Terry Doyle and Jason Marquis to remedy an ineffective, injury-prone starting pitching staff. Ryan also was foolish not to think at least some of the pitching injuries of 2011 to Liriano, Baker, Blackburn, and Pavano would repeat themselves. Just looking at their career ERAs, W-L records, and injury history should have alerted Ryan he needed to do more. Another problem is the lack of offensive production from Morneau. Finally, something noone has discussed, but has been a big problem this season is offfensive production from second base. Carroll and Casilla's numbers are pathetic. The Twins need to look for a 2nd baseman next year that can swing a bat. Even if its just a one-year deal.
