Time to see if there's legitimate video (not from TMZ or NBC News) and credible witnesses, the latter probably more important...at a club...at 2:30. Crud.

I am conservative white guy. I think the police are fair overall. Yet I have total faith in Ardrian. This a a good man, a very good man. This is one of those few cases of racism or stupidity. The Al Sharptons of the world screw things up. They cry wolf all the time and muddy the waters. Here I believe it happened. I have total faith in Adrian. Adrian is committed to excellence.

Why would there be any kind of verbal dispute as stated by Hardin? The bar is closed and they tell you to leave and you simply leave. Is that really too hard to do?

It's hard for me to believe an NFL football star would argue with a nightclub bouncer.

Why are you there at 2:30 am?? I will never believe an overpaid NFL player over a policeman. These athletes have NO credibility and they think they are above all laws!

Adrian: Hang in there! Shine the light on police misbehavior! Do it for all of us. The little guy has no chance - you can further justice here.

It's hard for me to believe a MN Viking star would argue with a Texas nightclub bouncer - not! But also understand how a young man is tempted to go out on the town & risk trouble. Less painful to stay home & watch the movie "Dusk to Dawn" (available at your Twin Cities public library) however. :)

For those who say he shouldn't have been there after closing -- it takes time to move large crowds out of bars at closing. And if they want you out immediately at closing they shouldn't serve right up until closing; so it's perfectly understandable that he was still there for a period of time after the official time they stop serving. Aside from that, I am absolutely positive these charges will be dropped. The key to this whole thing that shows HPD charged to protect themselves is that there is ONLY the resisting charge and no charge for an arrest to occur such as disorderly conduct or even a trespassing charge. Those are extremely easy to charge...but yet they didn't do it. Why? Most likely because of there was no precipitating criminal event...therefore no resisting. Police cannot just arrest you for resisting arrest when there is no reason to arrest you. Well actually they can do whatever they want and often do; but that doesn't make it legal in the end. Just punishes you for pi$$ing them off. They had no idea who he was or how this would blow up in their face. They probably thought he was just another drunk bar patron they were pushing around.

I have no idea if Peterson is guilty of anything. But our society has to stop putting professional althetics on a pedestal. Maybe then they will start acting normal and not like they are God's gift to man.
