The perfect example of a bad team: lose on the night your starter strikes out 15. At least this could increase Liriano's trade value.

Alex Burnett is a joke. Why he and Butera aren't at Rochester or New Britain is a mystery known only to Gardy. Nice catch Span. Now can we finally make the deal with the Nationals and move Revere to center where he belongs?

Liriano deserves better than a loss tonight. Span should have caught that fly ball then with 2 outs Liriano might have pitched the next batter differently. It goes to show that Liriano do have great stuff. Yes, this does increased his trade value, but the Twins better get a lot in return. Bottom of batting order #5-#9 hitters went 2-19 with 6 strikeouts...no production whatsoever! Why isn't Doumit catching tonight?

Compare the embarrassing miss by Span in center field and being picked off twice to Revere's unbelievable attempt at that ball in right field. Is Span trying to look bad so he doesn't get traded? And Lariano was fantastic. He deserved better.

Span getting picked off in the bottom of the first and taking his eye off the ball on the catch is pretty annoying when you consider how simple those plays were.

Burnett comes in and dinks around with his 91 mph fastball and ugly little slider, gets lit up. Fien comes in and throws 95 mph gas on the corners, promptly gets out of the inning.

only a minnesota twins' pitcher could go eight innings, strike out fifteen and give up only four hits, and still lose....

Time to clean house.. New coaching staff, sell any players we can.. Start over. Right now there is no hope for the future.
