Painting outside the box

Those boring, gray utility boxes don't have to be so ... utilitarian. Neighborhoods in Minneapolis are prettying up boxes on their streets with local artists' imaginings.

oh MNVet09...you are so wrong! First, most neighborhoods are paying for this with donations. Second, it deters tagging which SAVES MONEY because they don't have to keep sending crews out to repaint the boxes....but I assume you will prefer to ignore fact and instead keep up your ill informed mantra.

I think the veggie and flower ones are awful. I know a bunch of graf artists who would do a better job for .00001% of the cost of covering them in 'whimsical' vinyl.
