elmore1 said it best. I seriously cannot remember the last time Sack satirized Obama.

Taking the country to the brink of insolvency, limiting the stimulus money through negotiation, the necessity of tax cuts to pass any legislation in congress and other republican attempts to derail any economic progress have had their desired impact. We can all thank them for their placement of ideology and politics over our economic well being.

Slap my face, but I don't get the cartoon. If the President had a Jobs Program (egg) the ones who cracked it are the do-nothing Republicans who have refused to pass or even discuss any of the proposed programs that would create jobs. Mitch McConnell said it himself, he is not interested in improving the economy or creating jobs, he just wants to defeat Obama and deny him a 2nd term.

It's a very big egg - Boehner and McConnell should be covered, too.

People....people...people. It's an editorial cartoon for God's sake. If the Strib doesn't take a shot occasionally at a President who's job #'s are in the gutter...they would lose any credibility they claim to have left. The fact this runs on a Friday in the summer...just means 5 people are going to see it. You'll never see this in a Sunday Strib, so for that...you progressives should just chill.

I am amused by this whole thing about who creates jobs. When the GOP wants to take credit, they say it is the wealthy that create jobs.

When they want to cast blame, they say it is the President who creates job.

I will bet dollars to donuts that if jobs were being created at a faster clip, the GOP would credit the Bush & Reagan tax cuts.
