"Texas has become so completely Republican that no Democrat has been elected to a statewide office in the past 14 years." For which we can "thank" Carl Rove and Tom DeLay, two "great" Americans. Sorry for the sarcasm.

So the right-wing Wall Street Jrnl runs this hit piece on Barry Obama today. Seems this slum landlord, Tony Rezco, only had an annual income of $37,000 per year and assets of $45,000. He is the front-man for an Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi. Rezco, originally from Syria, helps the sugar daddy invest in Chicago Real Estate and slum property. Rezco is also described as a major political fixer who can channel $ to Chicago politicians. Between 2002 to 2006, Rezco traveled 26 times to the Middle East. A few weeks before Barry & Michelle Obama purchased their 10,000 square foot mansion in Chicago, sugar daddy wired $3.5 million so Rezco could close the transaction. From the mansion's owner, Rezco puchased a small lot for $650,000 while Barry bought the house for a $300,000 discount. I doubt if the Strib would have the courage of a big dog to reprint the WSJ's article.

you should be ashamed but then we all know Republicans quit being ashamed of having zero credibility long ago. You know the buyers verified that there was no discount it was simply the best offer.
