Come on! Romney needs to protect his money for the after life when he gets his own planet.

As though Democrats don't use tax shelters and move property around so they don't have to pay extra taxes. I know Joe Biden would be proud of me: I pay extra to drive in the HOV lanes--and I do so with pride--in fact, I sing the Star Spangled Banner every morning as I hit the HOV, because VP Biden says it's our patriotic duty to pay those taxes. I feel bad for those less patriotic than me that won't pay the extra dollar to help fund Mark Dayton's dream.

As your mother say, even if everybody does it (an unproven assertion), it doesn't make it right. It's another example of Romney-speak at its worse. If overseas accounts ARE how Mitt "believes in America", then we should give him a taste of his own medicine -- and send him packing.

Is this the best the Republican party can offer for a legitimate candidate? A guy who hides his money in offshore accounts? Then again, maybe Romney is a smart guy considering how well our ethical banking industry has performed the past 10 years.

Romneys not guilty of anything - he follow's the legal IRS reporting requirements. What he is "guilty of" is that he sells himself as Mr 100% American conservative... which is just patently false - he is Mr. 100% Global opportunity. He ought to be selling himself as that - its more natural and - would probably get him more votes.
