edutchboy, Love is universally considered the best PF in the NBA and, by easy default, the world. As far as his public outcry for some (real) action on Kahn and Taylor's part, he is spot on correct and has ALL the leverage here. Way to go Kevin. You deserve much better. You’ve earned it. Now let’s see if this disaster of a basketball franchise can man up and match what the Wild have done in the off season. I have my doubts.

We should all be saying what Love is sayng, "Make the damn playoffs or we are leaving!". I mean, what's it been, 8 years? In a league where more than half the teams make it, that's ridiculous.

Owner Taylor may be a nice guy, but lacks greatly in how to run an NBA franchise. This team, if it doesn't start making some noise in a big way, will be gone in a handful of years. And frankly, I wouldn't really miss them now that the Wild are making an awfully big noise.

The Love issue is a solid issue in my mind. Adding first class free agents to the roster is not going to happen in many cold weather cities. Did LeBron consider Minnesota? Ray Allen? Steve Nash? Of course not. In order to have a league teams and fans of the teams need to have a feeling that the team can compete for championships. In way too many NBA cities, this is not a real dream--even if you win 50+ NBA games a season. (Did anyone really think Atlanta was a threat to win the NBA title?) The NBA needs to contract to about 16 teams and load up those teams. There's enough talent for that and it would bring back competitive balance and likely all 16 clubs would think they've got a shot at the start of the year. Otherwise, people are playing without real hope of winning it all.

So he has been in the league only 4 years with the last couple being the player he is and he is demanding this and demanding that? Man, I thought this guy would be a little different then these other bozo's around the league, I guess not! We just got a new coach, a bunch of new players that are good but young, just like him. Give it a couple more years, Sheeeesh! The team will be good. And Bluedevil, you were all over the map with your comments. On one hand the cold weather teams have no chance. But on the other hand you bring up Atlanta as having no chance. So which is it? Then why is it that everyone is going to crappy Brooklyn and New York? And why is it that no one wants to stay in Orlando, Houston, Phoenix? It is how they are run, not the weather. And for your information, Nash is from Canada. He did consider Toronto.

If pro athletes can make complaints, albeit legitimate complaints, against management, so fans can point out so-called stars faults as well. That said, KLove, change starts with you. You are an excellent scorer and rebounder. But maybe, just maybe, you can stop complaining about missed calls and hustle back on defense. How many times during a game do fans have to watch you throw your arms up in disbelief while staring at the ref and the play is moving down to the other end of the court. And once there, maybe you can move your feet and/or provide some weekside help.

K-Love, if you want to get to the playoffs, then LEAD! Sure, you don't have another superstar like the LeBron/Wade manufactured combo, but if you can't get to the playoffs with the likes of Rubio, Pekovic, Williams, Roy, Budinger, Barea, and Ridnour, you have only yourself to blame.

Greatness? Is Love serious? When I think of great power forwards Love doesn't even enter the conversation.

I hate to say it, but Love is correct. The ownership of the Wolves need to step up their signing of free agents. If not, I see Love leaving here after his contract expires (if not sooner). If Love leaves, then we must look at the ownership for is misgivings.
