It's insane, the millions that are tossed around the NBA... Pay me $63 Million and I'll quit... Okay, I'll take an additional 10 Million to come back now... Can I have $2 million? It's not like I'm asking for much???

Brandon Roy with 2 bad legs is better than any current TWolf shooting guard with two healthy ones.

Interesting that he even wants to come back, kind of says a lot about him. He made his money and still wants to play-that's pretty cool. I wish him the best of luck and much success.

Good luck to him. If he truly does not have any cartilage left in his knees, don't know how he can do it. Usually this is now a bone-on-bone scenario. Time will tell...

Ignoring his physical limitations ... he sounds like a good guy who has his head on straight.

If B.Roy can play 6-8 minutes in the 1st half and the majority of the 4th Quarter ... this guy is incredible under pressure in the 4th. He would be a huge improvement if he could play 20-22 minutes a game but the majority of it in the 4th quarter. He made the all-star team because of his ability to make clutch plays down the stretch... I think the Wolves have nothing to lose since the SG position is nothing but a black hole recently.

Roy was on his way to being one of the best in the game. I am excited to have him on our team, and wish him the best here in MN for the next two years and beyond, welcome.

I remember an ex-Packer receiver was going to try to come back with the Vikes a few years ago after he had cartilage replacement surgery in Israel because it wasn't approved here yet. Obviously that receiver's career didn't go anywhere, but how come no mention of this procedure? Seems to me cartilage is just a pad and with everything we are able to fix these days why not?

I guess this is the best this team can do.Draft a player whom has had two knee surgeries and then sign a player with no cartilage in his knees and hope for some good luck. When as the last time the Wolves have had any of this.Best case scenario is Roy will be able to play 5-10 minutes each half particularly in the crucial moments of the 4th quarter.
