THe guy fror CBS Sports (Adam Gretz) summed up the Wild's first 11 years as well as anyone. With Parise and Suter that all changed. Doug Risebrough (former Wild GM) could have drafted Parise and didn't. He was a big reason for the Wild's poor performance.

It's encouraging to see that two top-level free agents, who are known as smart guys, view the Wild as a team that they want to be on for the next dozen years. I heard Parise say on a NHL Network interview the other day that the crop of prospects that teams had played a big part in his decision on where to go.
