Holiday is over, but heat isn’t

With miserably hot temperatures, the advice is to stay cool, and skip that daily jog. Also beware of melting ice cream.

I'm guessing the headline was supposed to say "skip that daily jog." It's a shame what's happening to newspapers in the Internet-influenced communications environment. No time to to take the time and care anymore.

C'mon, people. Suck it up! Owatonnabill mowed the lawn and did garden work today, and might yet get in a quick nine holes. Gotta admit though that it helps that Spousal Unit makes a killer strawberry smoothie.

It was hot, but I still ran yesterday and today. You just can't go fast and you can't go at noon!

I'm once again disappointed in the Strib's poor writing. "KIds and adults lined up by the side of the pool as they waited their to to get on the rock climbing wall above the diving pool at the Highland Park Aquatic Center in St. Paul." It reflects poorly on the paper and the city.
