KFAN's home page: (big letters) "Zach Parise IS IN MINNESOTA!" (little letters) "has he made up his mind?" DON'T DO THAT!

Man...Parise has to be the best looking fella in the whole sport of hockey...it does help to have all your teeth. To my point...I still think Parise will not sign with the Wild. Being a professional myself, my wife always told me (and still reminds me) that you leave your work at work and never bring it home. Its a conflict of interest for Parise, I truly believe he will keep work and play separate. Sorry Wild fans, just keeping it real. M

@downtown009 - are you saying you don't go home most every night and weekends? I agree, leave the work at work, I too am a professional but I always go home to my family most every night and weekends. Being a professional athlete and playing in a different state then where your home is means you're not home more then 1/2 of the year. Playing for the Wild would allow him to go home after home games. I think there's a strong possibility Parise makes his announcement to live and work in the same state.

$100M not worth it - too much cap space taken. Wild does not have the depth of talent to support a player like this and impact would be minimized. Go get 2 or 3 impact players that aren't quite so costly.

"Zach Parise, one of the most-coveted free agents in NHL history" ------------------ Seriously? He's probably the most-coveted free agent THIS YEAR, but in NHL history? C'mon! He's good, but not THAT good.
