Yet another money losing venture on the backs on the Minnesota taxpayers. We need to get rid of the unelected met council.

I have yet to see a map of exactly where this LRT would go. I'd also like to see how much profit it would generate.

This is what the Twin Cities needs to be a relavent in the 21st century and competitive with cities its size and bigger (or smaller). This is a MUST-DO and should be at the top of the priority list for these funds!!

LRT makes sense for the Twin Cities, but we need to stop building one line at a time and find an entire system. 60,000 jobs in the SW corridor is no small number, especially in this economy.

The word "rail" comes up and all the paid professional posters from the Club for Growth and other Koch-funded "think tanks" come out of the woodwork like cockroaches! When Scott Walker proposed spending hundreds of millions of dollars on a new highway from Milwaukee into Northern Wisconsin a few months ago, their state was suddenly no longer "broke." Amazing. The difference? One mode of transportaion is energy-efficient and does not depend on Big Oil and line its pockets--and the other one does.

Now is not the time to gamble with our money on their 'predictions' of what this will do for our future growth. Save money and abolish this council.

I'll support it once the plan includes Uptown. Otherwise, it's a waste.
