Regardless of the quality of the movie, it's WAY too early to reboot this franchise. I honestly would probably see this movie if it were released in 10-20 years but I feel like I just saw the last movie of the last franchise.

Instead of a reboot they could have gone with the Marvel Team up.That starred Spiderman and one other Marvel superhero The Thing and or the Human Torch from the fantastic Four where great editions.... Just a thought.

A guy who grew up just west of Canby at Clear Lake is starring in the movie. He plays the drug-fueled villain named Glasses. Pretty exciting for him, I bet.

Just saw these movies staring Tobey Maguire. Far to soon for a reboot. Time for a major team-up I agree like the Avengers movie.

Colin pretty much told it like it is, Some nice moments of human drama, but there's too many so they get lost, and the cool POV action shots don't really add to any plot advancement or suspense. This one strays too far from the comic source material too and there's no real pathos or caring for the characters. 'Avengers', it ain't. Post credit scene not great either. 'B minus' from me.

This movie isn't as bad as the article says. This one feels more Spidy then Tobey. Tobey's Spiderman was short and stubby. Then when he swings along the buildings he's skinny and tall. Every movie made from comic books all strayed from the original. One thing I hate about comic to movie is why do they always tell their "secret" identity to the first person they see.
