House OKs $40 million for bridge survivors

Representatives approved the bill by a 120-10 vote, but a dissenter said the state could ill afford the measure in tough economic times.

This is unbelievable. The DFL comes in control of the House and in 2 years they have spent the surplus and raised taxes a billion a year. Nice.

Makes me wish I was on the bridge when it collapsed. Free money from the DFL! You realize that normal citizens die in traffic accidents every day but don't look for handouts from the state. Pathetic group of Minnesotans these people are...

120-10. Can't blame that one on the DFL. Let's publish how they voted on this one. Dangerous precedent was set here.
