Talk about "egg on their faces", this was it. Pathetic how CNN was running on and on about how President Obama was hurt, finished, etc. The commentators needed a tranquilizer to calm them in their quest for sensationalism.

Fox sucks. CNN sucks. I miss Huntley and Brinkley. I even miss Dan Rather.

Lol! It's like on the Glee Project last summer. It was announced that Sam Larson was a winner. Tens of thousands of angry fans turned off the TV and started blogging furiously that Damian McGinty should have won, that the fix was in etc etc. Thirty seconds later the producer announced that Damian was a winner as well. A tie. All over the net bloggers stopped in mid sentence, "What? What's that you say?"

And Fox couldn't even state an apology.

Wishful thinking on the part of Fox News and their Australian owner Rupert Murdoch. We have a free press in this country;but that doen't mean that news is accurate.Good journalists sit on a story rather than get it wrong;not Fox or CNN.

"And Fox couldn't even state an apology."

Typical. They can't admit they're wrong.

If you can inaccurately report news stories, and it doesn't hurt your ratings, then why even try to get it right? Nobody who watches Fox News is going to turn the channel because of this, and they know it, because nobody watches Fox News for information, just reassurance.

Journalist Linda Greenhouse said. "Sometimes you have to stop and think."

It looks like CNN is willing to admit they made the mistake of not thinking first. FOX on the other hand will never admit they were wrong, and are still spinning things their way. I guess that is why Fox News is part of the "entertainment division" and not the news part of the soon to be divided Murdoch empire.
