God bless the Irish if they can forgive the Brits who stole their land, slaughtered tens of thousands of unarmed citizens, sold tens of thousands more into slavery, and turned a blind eye during the famine when a million died. Who amongst us could forgive all that? God bless 'em. Island of Saints and Scholars indeed! Maybe there's hope for Palestine yet as well.

There is no such thing as the Brits or the British. There are the Irish, the English, Scots and the Welsh. The word British was invented by the English to justify their annexation of the rest of the two islands. As the population of Northern Ireland will soon be majority Catholic, all of this will soon be sorted out. Then our "good friends" the English can be happy visiting Ireland from time to time and the Irish will be happy having their island back to themselves.
