Innovative marketing - or resource limited solution ? Regardless - the point of the artilce was what ..... that Nicollet-Mallians noticed him? ... that investment banks unwisely over-invested in Minneapolis? ... that the banking industry is oddly-restructuring itself? ... that the twin cities is falling as a place for investment activity to occur ? In the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles... Steve Martin's character told Jonh Candy's character - when you have a story ... have a point. What was this?
Looks like a personal interest story to me. Point being made is that introverts (I'm not crazy about phones either) have an even worse chance of finding a job in today's market.
Networking involves the very thing introverts often fear the most -- meeting new people and trying to make effective connections while inwardly shaking in our boots. I was told it gets easier but it doesn't. For many of us, the internet and email have been a godsend. I can get quotes from my vendors without having to call them as well as communicate with the individual across the aisle. For many of us the less face time the better.
