What are the chances that Percy got to practices to find out that the offensive playbook is still an absolute joke and actually cared enough to get torqued off? Or maybe he is tired of the opposing defense knowing what play is going to be run on every single down!

Hmmm,... yes, Harvin is quite hard to figure - BUT - not nearly as hard to understand as is why Bill Musgrave is employed as an OC. Maybe Harvin is upset about offensive schemes, who knows? What I do know is that Musgrave had better MAKE some things happen with the offensive tools/talent he has on this team - this year - OR he should be the first one sent packing if things get worse (good grief, could they actually get worse?). Musgrave's play calling, both in players put on the field, AND at the time they were called, were baffling/clueless, to say the very least. Regarding Ponder, the jury's still out. How can you possibly rate the guy after one season, with little preparation, along with the fact that he was running for his life most of the time? Give the guy this season to see what he's learned. The biggest hindrance to Offensive production is named Bill Musgrave. It's his offense, and he needs to OWN it, and its results. GO VIKINGS!!!

This is from one of the better Viking bloggers and is definitely something worth thinking about: "Keep in mind that when Christain Ponder wanted to organize workouts last off-season with the receiving corp during the work stoppage, Harvin had "other things" to do with his time. What is more, when players rallied with fans at the state capital in order to lobby the Minnesota legislature for a new Vikings stadium Harvin was no where to be seen in spite of his rumored steps "towards a leadership role" with the team. Even while rehabbing his knee, Adrian Peterson found the time to join fans at the event(s). Chad Greenway had/has an ailing father but, nontheless, he too found the time to be at the capital. John Carlson -- having yet to play a single down in a Vikings' uniform -- was even there! But no Percy."

@jimteacher. You must realize that Peterson and Greenway are Vikings for life after both signed new contracts with huge signing bonuses! Harvin is a triple "U" in his mind: Underpaid, Underutilized, and Underappreciated!

Too bad his atletiism isn't matched with a litltle emotional equilibrium, and good sense.

Wonder if the Vikes should get him evaluated from a mental health perspective? I mean this recent behavior came out of nowhere and to be honest, was rather bizarre. Something isn't right with a person when behavior like this just pops up out of the blue.

It almost seemed like his agent told him to make some noise as a contract ploy so he tried to do a TO but it came out all weird. And I think we all would like to throw something at Chilly’s head.

Great point about the failed drug test. He's taking his anger out on the Vikings when he needs to look in the mirror and accept the blame for a huge mistake. Whatever drug(s) he used, I hope it was worth the millions it cost him.
