Funny how just 14 hours after KFAN mentioned Fusco had the inside lead on starting this year, Sid Hartman "Breaks" this news to the twin cities...

He can only help the o-line, it doesn't matter where he is from or where he went to school. The o-line has stunk for two years and fans should welcome anyone who knows how to block. I am also glad to hear good news for the Nanne family.

From what I have seen of Fusco, think he will improve our offensive line. Time will tell, if he has the determination to give 100% on every play, which is what it takes to be a great Offensive lineman in the NFL. If you are reading this comment, best of luck to your career with the Vikes, Brandon.

Fusco seems to be a future starter and provides good depth already. I keep wondering why I never hear the name of that Love guy on our OL. I thought he performed well in preseason but never really seemed to get much of a shot during the season and has not been mentioned once so far this summer......is he just not up to par with the rest or what? I would appreciate some questions posed to our coaches on this guy...Demarcus Love drafted last year out of Arkansas. Thanks.

So the Cooper kid is being recruited by "as many" colleges as are recruiting Tyus Jones... The main difference is that one is being recruited by schools like Slippery Rock and the other is being recruited by Duke, Kansas and UNC...

It must be pretty difficult to get that starting right guard spot when there's pretty much zero competition. ...yawn...

Anyone who makes a big deal about a player in shorts, in non contact drills is fooling themselves. If the guy continues to show something when the pads get put on, then you have a story. Otherwise right now all you are doing is setting him up for failure.
