Past problems with players from Russia means the country's current elite crop faces some skeptical teams.

Three things- 1. Good solid piece on an aspect of the ice hockey business very few (including me) know much about. 2. Leave it to 'systems' NHL over uses to bleach the creativity out of the game and out of non-Canadian players ... especially the Europeans. 3. Leave it to NHL and Canadians to try to find ANY excuse to create more opportunities for average to low talent Canadian 'goons' who can't skate, pass or shoot -but who will 'fist it up' at the drop of the puck -while creating a perception that Europeans players are weak, selfish uncooperative divas. 'The Canadian Attitude' toward ice hockey' is driving this game into the ground.
