There is no confusion on Dan Erhart's part over when signs go up. His direction to his "supporter" to raise the issue is simply a deliberate attack by Erhart on his opponent. Now, let's examine Dan Erhart's personal political hypocrisy. According to state law the county had to appoint a successor to the Watershed commission 30 days after the resignation of one member. There was discussion of watershed districts merging and Erhart wanted to wait for that to place someone he had control over on the combined board, but that decision was not going to be made anytime soon and certainly not within the mandated 30 days. Dan Erhart is on record saying the county board didn't need to follow the law. Unfortunately for Erhart, County Attorney Palumbo's response was, we need to follow the law. Dan Erhart should be careful about claiming others are not following the law, because he only follows it when it benefits his agenda. It is far past time that Erhart is OUSTED from his 30 year term and someone else replaces him.

How about this shulte guy just follow the same rules as all other people running for office. and wait until June 29th. Don't blame Erhart for shulte thinking hes above the rules/law.

It seems to me "this Shulte guy" may be just a little smarter than the rest of crowd that is running. Erhart and the rest just complain when someone works a little harder and finds a legal edge. June 29th is the state override date, not the first legal date to erect signs. Seems clear to this reader. Maybe my next commissioner should be a critical thinker and not a lemming?
