No mention of the cost of a ticket vs the actual cost of a passenger. No mention that rail will never relieve congestion. No mention of annual costs. Light rail is a shiny thing that our socialist reps like so we can be more like Europe. Light rail is an irresponsible waste of money and an never ending financial burden. You can bet no one that voted for this economic disaster will ride the rail. I surely won't be in the 25 below winter waiting for a train. Pity this is yet another one sided ad for the socialists. We keep leaving Minneapolis and St Paul and some just don't get it. Pity.

highways are the real financial burden. light rail makes a lot more sense than suburban highway boondoggles.

Didn't they learn from the Hiawatha line. You need to put in park and ride lots, we don't have San Diego's climate.

elkriverscot...you did not leave the state because its -25... why won't people take light rail when its below -25 and enjoy their ride to work rather than driving in congested slippery road....

I agree with the Smiths. We will also be walking to use the Dale/University station, or I should say, potentially use. If its not safe to walk there with my kids, ride the train to say a twins game, come back in the evening and walk home, then forget it. Security better be good if they want families to use the trains.

LRT sure helps with congestion if you take the train instead of driving on the freeway!
