It's too bad these guys aren't getting more business from the train. Their food really is as good as the article alludes to, and they change their menu seasonally. The hot dogs for summer have been a big hit. Can't find that at Starbucks!

Northstar was not, is not, and never will be a "great idea". NORTHSTAR RAIL IS A FISCAL BLACK HOLE AND DISASTER COMPARED TO HIGHWAYS, unless you happen to be in a position to support legislation to build it and also own property near one of it's stops. The Northstar stop in Anoka is less than 4 miles from the one in Coon Rapids(which was there first)and about 4 miles from the one in Ramsey. There NEVER SHOULD'VE BEEN A STOP IN ANOKA according to the rules agreed upon when the line was proposed. I wonder how the Anoka stop managed to be approved?

"I never have told any of my tenants to rely on Northstar for business," Abeler said. It's still a good idea, but I would never encourage a tenant to risk a business on Northstar." I wonder if Rep. Abeler has shared this sage advice with the City of Ramsey EDA, City Council members and others who ARE betting on and risking their city's economic future on Northstar?

The biggest problem with running the train to St Cloud is Matt Look the Anoka County Comm. Ramsey station should never have been built. It's a five minute drive to Anoka or Elk River. Ramsey station goes no where, for no one. Vote Look out for, for sure. Abler is right, vote Look out

"They consulted state Rep. Jim Abeler, who owns property across from the Anoka station,..." Well now we know why Abeler was such a strong supporter of the project.
