Thome has more homers against the Twins than any player in the history of the Twins. Maybe our pitchers could quit throwing him meatballs.

I said in here last week, why are people all giddy over beating the Indians, A's and Royals? They were combined 14-16 in their last 30. I said until they beat the Rangers, Red Sox,Rays, Yankees, and i guess i should have said Phillies, dont think anything is going to change.

Thome...we didn't need him. Target Field plays too big. Any other lame excuses Twins? Disgusting.

Note to Jim Souhan: Joe Vavra is a lousy hitting instructor and you need to retract your apology! Note to Patrick Reusse: Detractors (i.e., the fans) have every reason to pick on Mauer, Morneau. They are weak sisters.

Now we know how Oakland fans felt when Willimgham single handedly kicked their butts.

When Cuddy, et al were complaining about the trees, Thome was asked if they bothered him. His response: What trees?

Against better competition it is basically the same old story. Gardenhose and his staff are simply not up to snuff regardless of their roster makeup. When Ryan and the Pohlads are ready to admit this then maybe things can get better, but we have seen this movie before and I am pretty sure as are most of you that the ending will be more of the same. There is talent on the team and in the minors and if we get a good free agent arm or two we can do some damage, but only and if only someone else is steering the ship. The time has come....

So why did the Twins get rid of Thome? Who did we get for him? We could sure use his bat right now. A total Class Act beat us 2 night in a row.

let's see now....souhan offers a public apology to the twins' hitting coach and reusse tells us not to say anything bad about mauer and morneau. seems like some folks been drinkin' the water....
