Sorry, not good enough to stay and play for the home town in college then not good enough to play for the home town in the pro's.

Jordan may not be good enough for the NBA, but he's won my respect and admiration for being a first rate man on and off the court. No matter what, good luck Jordan!

Agree with Hodgie. I have no more interest in how Mr. Taylor's career turns out than I do about the players that graduate from Oregon, or Cal, or any other university. But I'm sure we'll be subjected to occasional articles about him.

I would have loved to see Jordon as a gopher but he clearly made the right college choice. Who can blame him for doing what was in his best interests. Get over it.

Good luck Jordan. You gave lots of inspired and excellent performances with the Badgers. I hope you find a place in the NBA.

I don't think that the Gophers were even recruiting Taylor very heavily. Gopher fans do this all the time.... Their team messes up by not pursuing the local kids well and then when they succeed elsewhere they get all bitter at the player for not wanting to be a walk on at the U. Seriously... would YOU pass up a scholarship to walk on for a team that hasn't really been relevant since Clem Haskins left?

So (some of you think) the wolves should only draft gopher players??? What type of "failed" logic is that??

Jordan's high school, Benilde-St.Margaret's, goes to the Wisconsin basketball camp every year under head coach John Moore to play and compete. Bo Ryan got to watch Jordan play when he was a freshman at BSM, and every year after that. Jordan was a 4-year starter in HS, and an A-honor roll kid, and a Mr. Basketball recipient. Minnesota was coached by Dan Monson, who was not a very good coach and sort of showed interest in Jordan when he committed verbally to Wisconsin as a Junior in HS. The next year when Tubby came in, he took a run at getting Jordan, but being the stand-up kid that he is, he honored his verbal commitment and went to Wisconsin. Please be informed if you are going to spout off on this comment section about Jordan not going with his home state school. Contrary to what hodgie999 and goldengoph3r say, he was MORE than good enough to play at Minnesota, but he was better off going to Wisconsin. I wish Jordan nothing but the best, hope he plays for the Wolves.

Arguably the best point guard in the Big Ten over a four-year span when the Gophers didn't have one.

Good luck to Royce White in his NBA career, whomever it is with. Cyclone nation will miss you and wishes you the best.
