The Twins’ starting nine that sprayed line drives all over Target Field on Saturday showed long-term potential.

i like the lineup and CARROLL doesnt get enough credit he is still a pretty good player and still runs good for 38 years old.

Nice to actually have players who want to play hard and work on their ability to make their game better. Maybe Valencia will learn a thing or two now that he's been demoted.

I've watched every Twins game to this point. Today was the best I've seen this club play all year. Yes, it was againt the lowly Cubs. But a win is still a win.

Watchable baseball, at this point that alone seems like a minor miracle. Nice to see again.

If they can keep winning during the soft part of their schedule, that should help their hitting confidence for when the schedule gets tougher. I just don't know about Blackburn and Liriano, though. And maybe Walters now, too. Can the starting pitching handle the eastern teams, Texas and the Angels?

Gardy wouldn't know a good line-up if it slapped him in the face. When they start to fade again, which they will, the story will be Gardy can't work with the roster he's been given.

Yes we've beaten up the weak sisters of the league, but that's what good teams are supposed to do. The lineup today seemed strong at every position. I like this lineup. Every batter has a chance to do some damage. Is this a mirage? If Plouffie can keep hitting, he will be a force. Bring on the next victim.
