Diamond is our best pitcher and Willingham is our best position player, both coming from outside our farm system. Diamond looks to be having his best season since 2008 when he was 15-3 for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, which is hard to say without laughing.

It must be really hard to break into this awesome rotation. I think I would be the number three guy, and I haven't played ball for eighteen years.

Diamond might be here to stay? Might? Really? C'mon LENIII...who would you rather trot out there? Jason Marquis? Like Dozier, Plouffe, and Walters, Diamond is getting on the job training. This kid has a tremendous upside. Glad the Twins saw this lasat year, and worked out a deal with the Braves so we could keep him. The move is paying big dividends now. Please start focusing on the positives for a change LENIII. Personally, I see similarities in Diamond's windup and delivery to Cliff Lee.

I've enjoyed this resurgence of the Twins as of late--especially after watching the dreck play earlier. Nice to see some younger pieces getting the opportunity for a major league spot. True, they're facing some competition that has hit downward slides lately--the ebb and flow of a season I guess--but you still have to play those games and win, so give credit where credit is due. And the work to get a winning record still has a way to go. As Han Solo said to a young Luke Skywalker after he shot down a rebel fightership "great kid, don't get cocky..."

Please, please, PLEASE fire Gardenhire and his posse of worthless coaches before they can ruin Diamond, Revere, Plouffe and our other young players!

Diamond might stay? Shut the front door! That's a relief! I was worried he might get shipped to the minors after posting a stellar 1.61 ERA. He's only our best starter. With pavano out, this rotation has a chance to win every night. You might want to come up with a new title for this piece, LaVelle.

interesting take...an Atlanta and Oakland product...yes those organizations have farm systems...those are the ones you need to be trading with Terry.

Yogi Berra play every game. I would love to see what he has to say about these guys taking a fall. Berra was about 5'9" 175 lbs.
