Don't look now, but Twins are hot

Once it gets warm, the Twins usually warm up, and that's playing true to form again. Will it last?

Where are the Twins and what did these guys do with them? Diamond has been fantastic and exactly what the team needed. 9-2 in the last 11 games!

Trevor Plouffe is alive! It took guts for Gardy to stick with him, but it looks like it's paying off in a big, big way!

Don't let the pom-pom stick hit you in the eye.. it's the Cubs. The last place Cubs. The worst record in baseball Cubs. So go easy on selling the boat for those World Series Tickets just yet.

I agree drock918! That's the tough part about grooming young players. And, Plouffe is still a work in progress...and we'll see how he develops at third base. The same with Brian Dozier. He has made around 5 errors in the last week...but, Gardy is sticking with him...and some others...hopefully it will continue to pay off. But, there will be some ups-and-downs with these young guys. Patience is hard to practice...especially when you used to winning division championships.

Sounds like Diamond is a smart pitcher who listens and tries to do what he's told. As for the rest of the bunch, it's good to see some guys coming through. We still need night by night production from Mauer, Morneau and Willingham. As for the Cubs and their dismal season, who cares. We are still the bottom team in the AL for now--winning is much better than losing.

Best hitting lineup Gardy can (he never will) field: Span (CF) Mauer (3B) Willingham (LF) Morneau (1B) Doumit (C) Plouffe (RF) Parmalee (DH) Dozier (SS) Cassila (2B) Remember, this is the best hitting lineup - not defensive, ok

After the way the season started, did anyone expect the Twins to be only???? 10 games behind 500 ball?I think they deserve some local fan respect as how they are playing now. It can all come crashing down,or they may be in the thick of things, sooner than anyone expected.

Hey, Taxguy33. Do you realize that Ben Revere is hitting .330? How could you not put him in the "best hitting" lineup??

Jarmos, good catch - I guess I should have specified hitting/run producing lineup// I wasn't thinking BAverage ( obviously with Plouffe and Parmalee)
