Can't we please just get Bruno up here? Too logical.

No kidding. Guys go down, come back better, and credit Bruno. What is the magical hold Vavra and Anderson have on their jobs here, anyway? Incriminating photos? Because they certainly aren't surviving on their record of success. If it's just too painful for the weak-kneed front office to part with Gardy ... at least give us a change in the staff. One small stretch of decent results (against the worst teams in baseball), doesn't mean we have turned the corner.

This kid/Parmalee is in a good spot. Plays first and we have a catcher and DH/First baseman with histories of injuries. He an extra body but still needs to hit his weight. Fielding? Needs to improve in that area.

'"He hit his way back up here," Gardenhire said. "He was sent down, he was scuffling a little bit. He got his confidence back and started swinging the bat. That's what you're supposed to do. He did it the right way. Went down and hit and earned his way back up."' Does that mean we will see Valencia back up soon? Or does he rub Gardy the wrong way?

I wonder if Anthony Slama is going to get another chance. His stats are looking pretty good; 22 innings pitched, 37 strikeeouts, 12bb and a .40 ERA along with 9 saves. The 12 walks are a little concerning though and that put his WHIP above 1, but his K's per 9 innings are outstanding.

"Does that mean we will see Valencia back up soon?" Valencia is batting .214 in Rochester. If he was doing what Parmalee did he would be back up already.

"Because they certainly aren't surviving on their record of success" No problem with the conclusion but the premise is shaky. They are surviving on 6 division titles in 12 years.

ALL THESE GUYS NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM VAVRA. PLOUFFE HAS BECOME A STAR NOW THAT HE STOPPED LISTENING TO VAVRA; WAITING TILL THE PITCH IS DEEP AND HITTING THE BALL BY THE PITCHER AND OPPOSITE FIELD MIDDLE INFIELDER WITH A SHORT SWING. ORTIZ CALLED THIS "HITTING LIKE A GIRL". VALENCIA WAS A STAR UP UNTIL VAVRA HAD HIM SHORTEN HIS SWING TWICE IN THE LAST MONTH OF HIS FIRST YEAR AND HE NEVER RECOVERED. PARMALEE WAS A GOOD PLAYER WHEN HE CAME TO THE TWINS LAST YEAR. THERE IS A COMMON THEM HERE.

Plouffe is not a star but I heard he was working with Vavra a lot in spring training and early in the season. Valencia had a hot streak in 2010 out of proportion to his minor league numbers and if you looked at his hits that year they were to all fields. His hitting diminished when he tried pulling everything last year because of the field. I don't know if Vavra is good or not and would not care if he was gone but those examples prove nothing. And stop shouting.

I think some of you need to realize that when we were winning division titles we were not suppose to. The Twins in large have been over achievers the last decade and i would blame the coaching staff just as much as the players for such over achieving. We are now beating teams we are suppose to. Shouldn't we be happy for that?
