then there was Briggs, Frazee, Kangas, and Patterson. Briggs: 5 years in pro-dev leagues, currently playing for Dresden Ice Lions in Germany; Frazee: 5 years in ECHL/AHL; currently Albany Devils; Kangas: last year played 4 games for the CHL Fort Wayne Komets; Patterson: assigned to the AHL Lake Erie Monsters by the Avs for '12/'13 where is competing for a spot or minutes with three or four other goalies: Calvin Pickard, Cedrick Desjardins, Sami Aittokallio, and maybe Kieran Millan.

at least he stayed until his senior year and won the national title with the Gophers. Kids who leave early might miss out on cool stuff like that.. Most guys who leave early play in the minors anyways.. If you arent making the NHL roster stay in college

puckluck77- Easy for you to say, but 60-70 grand in the minors(plus whatever signing Bonus and increased pay for any short callups) is a heck of a lot more money than nothing in NCAA.

Congrats to Hauser, more games than I ever played in the NHL or AHL. Hope he enjoys a long and fulfilling career, where ever he plays.

yeah $70K would be way better than a life long memory of a National Championship with teammates and a college degree to build a career after hockey...puckluck what were you thinking!

I'd rat my parents to the Nazis for 60-70 grand. I'd sell state secrets to China for that kind of crazy money!!!
