Adrian Peterson isn't budging from his goal to play in Week 1, but the team monitoring his knee rehab has its own schedule to keep.

I'm glad he's on track....but let's be real folks, the knee will never be as good as it once was. Anyone who has ever had major knee surgery can attest that while you can rehab it back to pretty darn good.....it's never the same again.

His attitude is great, but it scares me and should scare Shugerman and the Vikings...

AP, please act smart by keeping yourself healthy while playing for this team that most Minnesotans do not care about. Save yourself for a real contender. Good luck.

There is NO ONE I would rather see my son look up to and emulate then Adrian Peterson Truly a class act. Minnesota is very fortunate to have him. Thank you Mr. Peterson for setting high standards and a good example for other pro athletes and our kids. You absolutely ROCK ! Continued Success. You're knee will be as good as new depend on it..

If he's right and on track for that start and the o-line coaches can figure out how to do that, improve the line, watch out Jacksonville!!!

The great ones all have it; unyielding determination, unmatched work ethic, elite ability. With Adrian you can add another one - positive attitude. I'll take it. Gladly.

Why in the world would he rush himself to return o a last place caliber team that is staring at another last place finish this season for the third year in a row!!! Couple that with the fact that the vikings O-line will be even worse than their horrible O-line from last year because All-Pro Hutchinson is gone and you have a recipe for disaster. It is clear that A.P is not interested in winning a Super Bowl anytime soon because it is never going to happen as long as he is in a viking's uniform.
