Dark Star, the Twin Cities radio personality found dead at home Friday, had a first-name buddy for every task.

I always enjoyed the acerbic wit of the Darkman while listening to him on my visits bacc home and I always enjoyed his bombast on The Sports Show. Rest In Peace...

Only met him once. He was all smiles on the plaza in front of the metrodome before a Gopher game. He was relaxed, happy and made feel good. World class name dropper and wit- we will miss him. RIP

it's like losing a distant Uncle. Loved his sense of humor and he never took himself too seriously. RIP Darkman

I loved it when the Darkman dissed Sid and Sid didn't get it. Dark had great wit and was a nimble conversationalist with wit and humor. I'll miss him.
