Cash-strapped consumers turn to high deductible health plans

An examination of deductibles and premiums for a fictional family of four shows a range of Minnesota high deductible insurance options. In general, the higher the deductible, the lower the premium. But the costs before coverage actually make some very high deductible plans more expensive overall.
