This was a very negative article Eric. Quite selective with the facts. What, did these people step on your kitten?

lol safety of the neighbors? They are just making up these problems! I'm sure the occupiers have a great relationship with the neighbors, and I'm sure the neighbors don't like the police coming in every night and making a loud scene.

So the question i have is, where were these people 2, 4, 6 months ago. How much money were they willing to give to keep this house out of foreclosure. I always get a kick out of this, and then there going to act like the criminal code doesn't apply to them. There have been people that stayed until the police of sheriffs said "you got to go now" and they did. Because having an arrest on there record doesn't help them find another job. So i say MPLS PD shouldnt have to baby sit these clowns all over the city. If they had half a brain, they would start a collection fund of some kind and then deposit that lump sum on behalf of the homeowner they want to save.If they did that then i could maybe feel a bit of sympathy.

It's pretty ironic that Freddie Mac's front man cares about 'the law' when their organization is actually a great example of 'control fraud,' where the executives set up criminal conspiracies such as securities bundling fraud on a regular basis to boost their own salaries and bonuses. If this article had recognized the enormous settlements obtained by the SEC in recent months over top-level fraud, it would be more clear why govt-backed Freddie Mac is bent on stealing homes, and operating above the law. Bottom line, everyone from the media to City Hall is terrified of the 'F' word.

dont blame the former residents they left. funny how the government bales out the car manufactures and the banks and wallstreet but lets john q. public fend for himself. maybe its time for some disobiendence from US sheep.

Hey, Up here on the North Side we are kept awake all night by singing and chanting (and shooting) -- But the cops don't seem to take much action regarding these problems. Maybe it is time for the City to reevaluate it's priorities and let the mortgage giants solve their own problems? Perhaps they would try harder to keep people in their homes?

banks should not use taxpayer-paid public servants to kick families out on the street. they can do it themselves.

When people intrude on private property they do not own, it is the criminal trespassing. So simple. People want to twist it all around and say it is their right to live on someone else's property. No! It isn't!
