So he's just taking campaign funds for his personal trust account to "defend" against something he hasn't been charged with? What, no gun? No mask? If he hasn't been charged with a crime yet, he should be now!

It is hoped that the good folks of Wisconsin will now see through the haze of corruption that has landed in the governor's house in Madison and take correctional action on the day of the recall election.

Why is he allowed to even have a legal defense fund? According to law, he can only establish one of A) he's been charged with a crime or B) is currently under investigation (which he claims he is not). Barrett needs to hammer this point over and over. And Walker needs to come clean about his status in the John Doe investigation.

Walker is allowed to transfer funds from his campaign account to a legal defense fund if he is the target of an investigation, or has been criminally charged with violations of campaign finance laws in WI.

Out-of-state donors like the Democratic National Committee have given Barrett some cash as well. But not very much, because they have apparently re-purposed their precious money towards elections they may have a chance of winning.

Even if Walker survives this recall, he still faces an investigation and possible indictment. How anyone (right or left) could give money to this guy is beyond me.

Less than one week before we hear gnashing of teeth coming from every union hall across Wisconsin. I think I'll have a Leines in celebration. Buh bye.

Walker would not be getting out-of-state money if the unions hadn't made a national stink about this - stomping feet for a month on the nightly news - and turning the Capitol into a three-ring circus. Now the whole country is well aware of how public unions soak the taxpayer, scheme with the politicians, and wreak havoc on a state budget. So the jig is up and the cash is pouring in.
