STOP TALKING LIKE PARISE WILL SIGN WITH THE WILD! Good Grief. IT's only a story that local media has created. Win or lose the Stanley cup with the Devils, Zach won't be signing here. He's at the prime of his career, so his #1 goal is to win a stanley cup-not sign with a team that is rebuilding and hasn't made the playoffs in ages. The Parise family have also commented, the New York Rangers would be a great fit for him. This is assuming the Devils don't resign him. This story is getting OLD fast.

siouxchamp? Hmm, ohhkay. Parise coming to Minny is a longshot, no question. He has Minnesota roots though, of course, so that makes him less likely to sign with teams who tend to buy their way to the Cup, like NY. Why? Because being a hockey player from Minnesota generally means you have an idea that there's more to the game, the profession, than playing for money and lights. Plus, Minnesota, unlike ND, has much more to offer a young guy getting married and bringing up a family. if you're a no-dacker resident, you have my sympathy. If you're a Minnesotan and a sioux fan, you need to move.
