For some reason, people like to think that putting good pitching together with good hitting makes a good ball club. Now this is subtle, but it's not the same: Good ball clubs put good hitting and pitching together. If you're not doing it, it's because you're not a good ball club

Ryan cannot put pitching and hitting together with the Twins players. It's impossible!

Captain Obvious. Put pitching and hitting together and you win. Who would have thunk it. The problem is this team has only a small number of pitchers who belong and a number of hitters who do not either. It will take time but do the Twins have the right people to make the decisions necessary to turn things around? I am skeptical. And with the draft coming up you have to wonder why the Twins are going with the same people who have blown the last few drafts. I guess time will tell.

The one thing I got out of this article was that the new stadium might (might!) look like Lucas Oil Stadium. That's an UGLY stadium, moreso than the renovated Soldier Field in Chicago. Let's hope for better.

Great, once again the Vikes and Colts will have the same looking stadium!

Ryan say the Twins need to put pitching and hitting together. What a great baseball mind. How can anyone doubt the Twins future? We can hardly wait for the off season, when Ryan signs another Marquis and looks for the current pitchers to have career years.

Great. Ted Mondale in charge of the stadium commission. He's failed in business and politics.

This team cannot wait 4/5 years to hope for ALL of their problems to be resolved through the draft. Trades and free agency must be at least half of the solution. Spend some money to overcome your poor drafts of the past, or lose 100 games each year for the foreseeable future!!

Great headline. What's next? "Ryan Says in Order to Win We Need to Score More Runs Than Opponent?"

well yeah...the 2012 twins are like a jigsaw puzzle with good but misplaced pieces that desperately needs someone--a new manager--to put them together in the right order....
