Each of the low minors outfielders mentioned has fallen flat this year. The perceived depth is becoming questionable. Rosario was moved to second--because he can. His current OPS in the range of .800 looks to be star quality at 2nd but only so-so as an outfielder.

Take the best player available. Yes ... we definately need starting pitching. However, selection of a can't-miss outfielder provides the Twins with many options. (e.g. trade any one of existing minor league OF; dangle this kid for a top-drawer starting pitcher (or 2); etc).

We will miss on SP as we always have, so the Twins may as well take a high upside player while they have the chance....
