THE only thing BLACKBURN has to be opitimistic about,is that he wont be hit with beer bottles being thrown at him when he is warming up in the bull pen before the game.

It's obvious this guy cannot pitch at this talent level, let alone stay healthy.

"It's obvious this guy cannot pitch at this talent level, let alone stay healthy" Hardly. He has shown that when healthy he can put very good months together. Much like Liriano he has either been very good or very bad with very little in between. Judging him completely on when he is going bad is as foolhardy as judging him when he is going very good.

I find it hard to believe that no one claimed Marquis. Certainly someone needs a good pitcher. I heard a rumor that Wall the beer man sponsons a slow pitch softball team. They might need a good 'chucker'.

Blackburn like Liriano does not have pitching coach. He has a head coaches BFF for a coach.

I am a very patient fan but am really tired of Blackburn's excuses. He needs to perform or get out. The Twins can not count on him. He has had his moments but they are too few and far between. I had high hopes for him at one time but this really needs to be his last chance. If he can not do it this time then cut him.
