The lefthander remains a reliever trying to regain his confidence while minor leaguers get a shot at starting.

Who cares?

Love Andy's comment, "if he ever gets it right". When would that be? Try never. If he hasn't gotten it in 6 years when will he?

I bet there are some other pitching coaches salivating at the chance to work with Frankie. I don't doubt that the issues are more in his head than in mechanics. But maybe someone else than Andy can unlock the potential. Then that coach will be the "guru" that can get Frankie a Cy Young.

I have said this before in these forums and will now do so again. Lirano should never start another game while he is in a Twins uniform. He has no one to blame for where he is right now but himself.

Liriano = waste of time and money. Classic Twins move here keep a guy until he has zero market value and then try and move him.

If Liriano was told that his salary would go down to the league minimum if he didn't get his e.r.a. down to under 4.00, I think we would see an immediate improvement. I think at least half of a MLB player's salary should be based on performance. Liriano needs a wakeup call. He has been sleepwalking through the past two MLB seasons.

"One working theory is that the Twins promoted De Vries and not Liam Hendriks because they wanted to send a message to Hendriks that he needs to make a few necessary adjustments before he gets another opportunity with the big club" You mean like going 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA since being demoted? Or is it that they want him to pitch more to contact? LOL

Gardy and Anderson destroyed this guy just like many of the other pitchers who bombed. You don't want to be a young pitcher in this franchise. Name one pitcher who actually improved under their coaching, Go ahead and name one!

Sure wish that we all could get jobs that would allow us to tell our bosses what we feel like doing while in their employ. And while the bosses give in to our self serving solutions to our problems, they shovel boat loads of cash our way. Hmmm...just who runs this team anyhow? And why isn't Span in right field? Are Gardy and Ryan just afraid of hurting the feelings of Loserano and Span? I was hoping that this year would be different and the manager would actually tell the players where to play and how he wants them to play.
