re:Stop includes a Friday speech at Honeywell....interesting choice, considering almost all Honeywell's manufacturing on their residential controls has been offshored to Mexico and China. Any bets he doesn't bother to mention that?

It's not honoring anyone but himself! It's campaigning on our dime!

Why would he waste his time here. We already know that the lemmings that idolize him will vote to follow him over the cliff, bringing the rest of us with them.

This is another campaign speech, nothing else to report and no different than anytime he has spoken since he was first elected.

I didn't know campaign stops were now considered "business trips." It must be nice to have that "D" behind your name.

I would take the mostly meaningless bitterness in the first five comments or so to reflect the fact that you all know he is going to win re-election. Good news for all, even the ones who can't see or believe it.

Forget fact--such as Obama's successes in restoring our economy after the disaster of the Bush W's eight year of mismanagement. Just blame it on the D's--no proof needed; the R's narrow little minds are made up thanks to their "information" source--the Fox-y channel of misinformation.

Those that work and pay taxes, or want to work, will loose significantly. The only bitterness we have is that our country is being destroyed by a free for all givaway the will turn our country into greece.

I look forward to seeing the president next week and have 100 times the confidence in his leadership than even in 2008.

" the R's narrow little minds are made up thanks to their "information" source--the Fox-y channel of misinformation."...........The good news for moderates, liberals, and rational adults is that the GOP "tent" has shrunken to include only rich white men and low-information, fear-based folks. The Dems have the Hispanics, the blacks, the gays, the working class, and the lion's share of the women's vote. One tent is shrinking due to extremism taking over; the other is expanding by the week.
