Earth to Sid or who ever is a fact checker is Bjugstad already knows what kind of money he will make there is a rookie number for the NHL no more no less. So big money, yes but he could of took the same amount last year and if he stays it'll be the same then.

There's no reason at all for the City Council to sign off on this big ripoff of the taxpayers. Any hope of property tax relief from this is a fool's dream. Just say NO!

The stadium is a done deal but there's no need for Minneapolis to pay for it. Rybak has sold his constituents down the river. This deal is good for him but a big loser for the taxpayers. Any City Council votes for this without a public referendum is a violation of public trust.

"does the Viking's lease of "30yrs"....start when they actually play" The lease starts after the stadium is built when the Vikes play their first game. So 30 years starting from August of 2016 guarantees the Vikings to be here through 2046

I wish more people would open up their minds to the variety of uses this stadium will have and the economic benefits of those uses. The Metrodome paid for itself many times over. And the same spirit that did this can tackle homelessness and education issues. There are people in this world that if you said "the sky is blue" who would say "No, it's green." and for those who are using moral triumphalism to oppose the stadium, I think even God might show up for a few games and even God will be surprised if the Vikings win a super bowl.

Rybak was bragging about how his city received everything they asked for and more from the legislature earlier this month, probably ahd nothing to do with getting the votes from the city council though, right?

sharkyshark, you just dont get it and probably never will. i feel sorry for you and the closed little world you live in. remember the business owners of minneapolis are rybaks constituents too and you CANT have a vote for money that you dont control.
