The defending champ Lynx rode depth to a rout in the opener, and an injury concern faded, too.

Monica Wright impressed me a lot. Her game elevated today. The fact the the Lynx had 5 starters in double figure pretty much tells the story. Charde Houston for Phoenix was a juggernaut. I think she was about the only one that kept them in the game for awhile. Lindsay asserted herself in the second half, especially in the 4th quarter and did exactly what the Lynx needed her to do at the point. Seimone is a gamer. she'll be fine but jeeeeeeeesh did that look sort of bad for a moment. Deveraux Peters is going to be fighting for minutes and even she looked decent. Taj? What can you say about Taj? Excellent. Here come the Lynx again...get used to it!

I was happy this game was on ABC. It was nice to see some talented women on the court representing Minnesota!
