Thanks Baird, Jennifer, and Rachel. A well written article about Kurt. I will say, I know Kurt and you are right on! Thanks for an honest presentation.

I'm probably missing something, but it seems odd the Ron Paul supporters would take over the Republican party and nominate a Libertarian financial reformer for the United States Senate, but remain dependent on old school Republican financial advisors when it comes to keeping the State party away from bankruptcy court.

Ironic that a guy named Bills is nominated by the party that's now infamous for their inability to pay their bills. If he's talking fiscal responsibility he'd probably be better off running as an independent.

She's one of the "most popular U.S. senators in the country"...then it sure doesn't take much accomplishment to be a popular Senator. Seriously, what has she done since 2006? I've never seen a politican who has been so timid to take any position on an issue.

Great, just what we need - another partisan hack. Klobuchar will win by a landslide.

We are the new face of the republican party, little "r" republicans that believe in the constitution and freedom. We have new leadership and a lot of new blood that ousted the establishment types. As for Mr. bills, he's an Econ teacher! He is what we need, not some feel good liberal who has no concept of fiscal responsibility or small government. Now I'll be surprised if the moderators actually post this and I'm sure I'll get many dislikes. That is fine with me, but just listen to what this man has to say, and then form judgement after that.

Telling us that he gives "110 percent" apparently is supposed to substitute for real qualifications for this job.
