Cheryl Reeve is a great coach. She truly understands that the beauty of sport is reaching for the challenge that is right here, right now. And, that the best way to do it is as a team. No matter the final standing, it is going to be a great season for the Lynx. I can't wait!

Nice to see a Lynx article written by Rachel. Other teams always play especially well against the champion bu as the Lynx got better and better last year other teams were already gunning for them. That coach and those player? I'll bet on a repeat.

I don't watch much pro basketball, and didn't realize what we had with the Lynx until past mid-season last year, but once I started watching, I was hooked. The talent, the intensity, but best of all the team mentality they showed made them such a bright spot in the local sports scene. I think they have the maturity to repeat, but luck will be important as well as skill, and hopefully, no serious injuries. I think getting Taj into the fold was a stroke of genius.

Agree with Mav132 - absolutely addicting sport to watch. I am a guy who shyed away from women's sports before but checked out a game last year and became a season ticket holder this year... good luck to Coach Reeve and the Lynx this year. I am excited for the season opener on Sunday!

This is a team that has thier stuff together so be it men or in this case women, they're doing things the way you want to see your championship team do it. Through losing AND making good trades they've made good use of their draft picks. They've got the right coach & have picked players that fit the "team" concept. Really looking forward to the Lynx defending their title. Go Lynx !
